We are told that we need to embrace many many more houses in our town.   This is fine if we know that we have the infrastructure to accommodate all the new people.   Presently not all our youngsters can go to school in their immediate area.   Our Doctors surgeries are groaning at the seems.   Our drainage system cannot cope with the housing we have, let alone more.   Our rubbish collection is ludicrous, our pavements are made impassable for wheelchairs and pushchairs by huge dustbins.   Our street cleaning is inadequate.   These are not all issues for your town council, as they are the responsibility of both Borough and County Councils, but the job of YOUR locally elected town councillors is to lobby the more powerful councils to put these issues right, not just sit on their backsides saying "not our responsibility".
